From the centre of Cartagena: the bus takes about 2 hours, while a motorboat takes about 1 hour.

About Barú

Playa Blanca is here, one of the most popular beaches with tourists, thanks to its gorgeous turquoise waters and white sand. Another great thing to do here is the nocturnal plankton tour (to do this you’ll have to spend the night in one of the plentiful spots offering accommodation on the island – keep in mind there’s no system of potable water nor dependable electricity!).
